Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: Aspen won the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus.
