Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former worker in a factory. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone began the second grade at five years old. She was considered to be academically gifted. Stone graduated from high school with a diploma in Saegertown which is located in Saegertown located in Pennsylvania in 1975. She was also a contestant in Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated with her aunt from New Jersey, where she pursued a career in modeling. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. Her next move was to Europe where she spent one year within Milan, Paris and other cities. But, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion in Europe and decided to pursue acting while living there. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was 20. The film was met with diverse reactions.
