
Alexandra Morgan Carrasco, an American professional soccer player plays as a striker for San Diego Wave FC (NWSL), which is the top division of women's soccer in the United States. She also co-captained the United States women's soccer team from 2018 to 2020 with Megan Rapinoe as well as Carli Lloyd. Following her graduation early from the University of California, Berkeley, where she played with the California Golden Bears, Morgan was selected as the top pick in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. There, she made her professional debut and was a part of the team's success in winning the league championship. Morgan aged 22 at the time was the youngest athlete on the national team at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, where the team was runner-up. Morgan played a key role in helping the United States winning their titles at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cups and the FIFA Women's World Championships in 2019.
